Frank Lloyd Wright Coonley Playhouse Bookmark

This bookmark is an adaptation of a window design Frank Lloyd Wright created in 1912 for the Avery Coonley Playhouse in Riverside, Illinois. Unusual for the use of primary colors and the introduction of the circle into the composition, these windows are among Wright's most important designs in glass. Inspired by viewing a parade with balloons, flags and confetti, Wright often referred to these impressive windows as his "Kindersymphony."
